Trump pauses "reciprocal tariffs" for 90 days while raising the rate to 125% on China

Lower than 24 hours after his new, excessive tariffs on dozens of US buying and selling companions took impact, Donald Trump introduced a 90-day pause for all of them besides China.  After Beijing introduced retaliatory tariffs of 84% on US items, Washington hiked its levy to 125%. In the meantime, the ten% baseline world tariff that went into impact final week will stay in place. Wall Avenue shares skyrocketed on the announcement, with the Nasdaq posting one of the best day since 2001, up 12%.
