At the least 22 individuals have been killed after a suicide bomber opened hearth at a church in Syria – after which detonated an explosive vest.
That is the primary such incident since Bashar al Assad was toppled in December, and officers declare the attacker was a member of Islamic State.
It occurred at a Greek Orthodox church in Damascus, with estimates suggesting that 350 worshippers have been praying there on the time.
