Police in Germany have arrested a suspected Hamas member who allegedly obtained weapons and ammunition to assault Jewish targets.
Lebanese-born Borhan El-Okay was picked up on the motorway after crossing into Germany from the Czech Republic on Tuesday evening.
In a press release, the German federal prosecutor’s workplace alleged in August he had procured an automated rifle, eight Glock pistols and greater than 600 items of ammunition in Germany.
It is claimed the weapons had been then handed to Wael FM, one other suspected member of the Palestinian armed group Hamas, in Berlin.
