A life-size statue of Melania Trump has gone lacking from her hometown in Slovenia.
Police are investigating the disappearance of the bronze sculpture of the US first lady, which had changed a wood statue of her that had been set on fireplace.
The bronze creation was unveiled in 2020 throughout Donald Trump‘s first time period in workplace, within the city of Sevnica in central Slovenia the place Ms Trump was born in 1970.
Police spokesperson Alenka Drenik Rangus mentioned officers had been knowledgeable concerning the theft of the statue on Tuesday and had been working to trace down these accountable.
An image confirmed the bronze sculpture had been sawn off on the ankles and eliminated.
The unique wood statue was lower from the trunk of a linden tree and confirmed Ms Trump in a pale blue gown just like the one she wore to Mr Trump’s presidential inauguration in 2017.
It was unveiled in July 2019 and set ablaze in July 2020.

A person who works at a bakery in Sevnica that sells truffles with Ms Trump’s title mentioned the stolen statue won’t be missed.
“I believe nobody was actually proud at this statue, not even the primary girl of the USA,” Franja Kranjc mentioned.
“So I believe it is OK that it is eliminated.”
