Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) had a biting comeback after President Donald Trump taunted her in a current Fox Information interview.
In an interview Monday on “The Ingraham Angle,” Trump railed in opposition to Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-Texas) as a “low-IQ person” earlier than tearing into Omar, the primary Africa-born refugee to serve in Congress.
“I have a look at any individual that comes from Somalia, who, the place they don’t have something — they don’t have police, they don’t have navy, they don’t have something,” the president falsely stated, showing to reference Omar, the one U.S. lawmaker born in Somalia, whose household fled the civil conflict there within the Nineties. “All they’ve is crime — and she or he is available in and tells us learn how to run our nation.”
Seemingly mocking Omar’s voice, Trump continued, “‘The Structure says this, the Structure says…’”
“The entire thing is loopy,” he added.
Omar burned Trump with a one-sentence clapback in an X post on Tuesday.
“Not like you, I can learn and that’s why I do know what the structure says,” the lawmaker wrote alongside a clip of Trump’s remarks.
Trump has repeatedly referred to as for Omar — a U.S. citizen — to return to her delivery nation, most lately in a Truth Social post earlier this month.
In September, he informed reporters that Omar must be “impeached” only a day after a failed effort by Rep. Nancy Mace (R-S.C.) to censure and strip the Minnesota Democrat of committee assignments, claiming she had mocked slain right-wing activist Charlie Kirk.
