The most recent member of that membership to be accused of unbecoming behaviour is Elon Musk, the richest man on the earth and, now, a confidant of President-elect Donald Trump. His continued inclusion—regardless of what another scientists have referred to as “anti-scientific” behaviour—has led to a fracas.
