Bill Maher on Friday warned the Republican Party about their diminishing possibilities within the upcoming midterm elections, citing the “actually ugly” pictures popping out of Minnesota amid the chaotic and ongoing presence of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement there.

The “Real Time” host shared his prediction the night time earlier than federal immigration brokers in Minneapolis shot and killed a 37-year-old U.S. citizen, who has since been identified by his parents as Alex Pretti — a nurse who attended the College of Minnesota.

Maher on Friday was chatting with visitor Sen. John Kennedy (R-La.), agreeing that ICE has made their “level” that there are “too many illegals” within the U.S., citing former President Joe Biden and his border insurance policies for an inflow of undocumented staff.

“However these pictures,” said Maher. “Like I stated, actually ugly.”

He commented on a number of the images proven on display screen, decrying ICE for forcing a person outside in subfreezing temperatures in his underwear, detaining a 5-year-old boy outdoors his house and dragging a pregnant woman en route to the doctor out of her automotive.

Kennedy confirmed that he helps present U.S. immigration legal guidelines, however added that it “issues” how stated legal guidelines are enforced — and declared this needs to be achieved “in accordance with due course of, equal safety and Terry v. Ohio, cheap suspicion.”

“It’s OK to protest,” stated Kennedy. “It’s not OK to protest violently.”

Maher then famous that the 5-year-old boy who was detained earlier this week was doing no such factor. Whereas his Republican visitor stated he understood, Kennedy reiterated that violently protesting is “silly” — and that “anyone’s gonna get damage.”

Maher countered that he hasn’t heard of anybody defending violent protests, nonetheless.

He went on to ask his different visitor, CNN host Kasie Hunt, if she’s heard any totally different. Hunt responded plainly, “No,” earlier than arguing that President Donald Trump is already “seeing that People will not be behind these ways” ICE has employed towards Minnesotans.
