ARTnews has revealed the nominees for the 2025 ARTnews Awards, which honor excellence in artwork at US establishments and galleries.
Launched final yr, the ARTnews Awards will reprise its awards in 5 classes: Rising Artist, Established Artist, Lifetime Achievement, Greatest Thematic Museum Exhibition, and Greatest Gallery Group Present. This yr, with increasingly establishments paying thoughts to under-sung artists of the previous, ARTnews has additionally launched a sixth class, Greatest Historic Artist.
The awards have been juried this yr by 5 of the US’s prime curators, in addition to two ARTnews editors. This yr’s jury contains Victoria Sung, Phyllis C.
