NOBEL SCIENCE prizes are awarded in three areas: physics, chemistry and physiology or drugs. However sometimes some noteworthy discovery comes alongside that doesn’t actually match into any of them. In 1973, for instance, three pioneering college students of animal behaviour, who labored on honeybees, geese and sticklebacks, have been shoehorned into the physiology class.
